Stirrin' the Pot.
Have you ever shown up to an event and everyone runs over to you and asks you if this little bullshit thing that some wacko started up is true about you? Whenever people ask me that I give them the, "No, but where the fuck did you hear about that?" I sometimes wonder what drives these people to want to create these lies about other people, but then I realize that some people don't have lives or are just plain jelly (Jealous). There's a saying on a DGK t-shirt that I love, "Haters Make Me Famous." It just reminds me that people can hate on me, but it don't matter none! But the biggest thing that I hate about people that spread rumors is the aftermath that it leaves. Relationships can be torn apart and lives can be ruined (and if you know me personally, then you know that this has happened recently to my best friend and it pisses me off to no end.). The need to spread rumors seems to be an unthinkable evil in my eyes, and I don't believe that anything other than fucked up lives can come from it.

Best Day Ever... ish.
As I sit writing this post, I am slowly going back over my day, reviewing the ups and downs with a little less than complete and utter happiness. I take a virtual tour of my day, going trough each part with an ever growing smile of satisfaction.... until lunch, when I learned that these things called "love" and "envy" are going to wreck my wing-man's life. It makes me want to rip someone's lying throat out, but I know that I don't have the stomach or the strength to accomplish such a feat. Seeing my friend's relationship crumble, my thoughts turn to my own odyssey of relationships (selfish, yes, but I can't help it. I enjoy being loved.). I'm actually not quite sure what to make of my situation: there are three girls, one in particular, that seem to want me. It could be seen as freaking sweet, but one must remember... girls, whether they know it or not, like to toy with a guy's emotions. It is sometimes hard to know which ones want you and which ones are using you for endless other purposes. Now don't get me wrong, girls are probably the best thing that God has done next to food, it's just that sometimes they make things so fucking complicated. Sometimes I look back at being single for a year and think, "Wow, how dope were those times?" (Still love ya, B.A.M. <3)

Didn't See That Coming...
According to our ASB, our school needs more school spirit, so they're implementing a new policy: more rally's!!! Well, that would usually be a good thing, except our rally's SUCK! The best part of our ralley, besides having all my friends around me, was making fun of the freshman. We did this thing were your class (Juniors, Seniors, etc.) stand up and yell, "Juniors!" as loud as possible. The ASB president was all like, "Ok Freshmen, let's hear it!!" and I think about three kids squeaked, "Freshmen!" and every body else was all, "BOOOO!!" That was funny. It was the best rally I've been to in my school history (and for those three who know me best, they know it was a little more than that ;) )
A couple of hours ago, I was listening to Pandora and found a "Monty Python Radio" and I can honestly say I have never laughed so hard in my life.

My iPod Has Serious Problems...
Have you ever played that "iPod Shuffle Game"? You know, the one where you ask your iPod a question, like "What will I be when I grow up?" and hit play and something like "Superman" by Taylor Swift (that was my sister's example). Well, I try to play that, but when I ask, "How will I die?" and it comes back with "HYFR", I'm kinda like whaaaaat? Another thing that my iPod apparently doesn't get... my mood. When I have my iPod on shuffle and chose a heavy metal song 'cause I feel pissed off, I don't want to hear "Good Time" by Owl City. I am NOT in the mood for that kind of shit!! GAH!!! And when I'm in a good mood, it wants to fuck up my day. It's probably because my iPod is, like, a gagillion years old. It doesn't even show movies! WTF?!?
Anyway, I found this video online in between practice and homework Check it out here.

A Near-Death Experience
Before I explain the title, a little background information is needed. At my school, we have a guy that is head of Discipline, a Mr. Hutton. When you first met him, you'll notice that 1. He thinks he's insanely funny, but it's really lame, and 2. He's old. Like, old-folks home old. Anyway, he likes to take time out of classes and talk to you about school rules, policies, who's who in the main office, and other things that no one bothers to pay attention to. But that's not the worst part. He talks... so...... sssssloooooooow................. that you just might fall asleep and stay asleep for the hour or so that he drones on and on for. In fact, that's what most kids do, using sunglasses as cover. Yet if you're like me and you can't sit still, then it's like Chinese water torture. You're slowly slipping away, going towards the light........ The thing that saved me was my iPod. It was going through a slow, sad song phase, then it suddenly started blaring "Wide Awake" by Katy Perry. Hmmm, how convenient!
Any way, in my first post I mentioned my first-class wing-man, Shane. Well he encouraged me to post a quote on girls that I had completely forgotten about. Here it is,
"Girls are a lot like cars. The Honda gets great gas mileage, but doesn't provide any thrill. The Bugatti, on the other hand, doesn't get great mpg, but it sure as hell provides the bigger thrill. So you can drive that Civic for a while, but when you upgrade to the Bugatti, it's definitely time well spent."

Just Another Day...
I think I've stated before that I play volleyball for my school. I should let you know that I'm on Varsity, and seem to be the only one in my Spanish 3 class that does. Today was an activity to learn more about your classmates, and I think all 35 students asked me "Jugaste voleibol?" I was like Are you kidding me? And what's even worse is that Mr. Brown, the Spanish teacher, is whiter than me and just a complete asshole. The way he talks just pisses me off.
Anyway,I've noticed that I'm always moving about, whether it's to practice or a party or back home for homework. Take this weekend, for example. I was working at Applebee's for a fundraiser at 7, then I left and went to practice straight from the restaurant at 10. Immediately following practice, which ended at 1'ish, I ran to an Eagle Scout Court of Honor to congratulate some Scouts I know from back in the day. Once I arrived back at home, I ran off to join some friends for a party that lasted for about seven hours. And that was just Saturday!
Sunday rolls around, and I find myself awake at like 6 or something to help my dad build a fence (ugh!). But around 4, my mom herds the family into the tiny Civic and drives us up to Santa Barbara to hang out with a girl on my sister's water polo team. She is really cool, beautiful, and off-limits. WTF, right? Thank God no one saw us, like, wrestling in the front lawn :D

Welcome!
Hello out there! It is possible that you have reached this blog by mistake or have purposely tried to arrive here on your own accord. I would like to begin by giving a little backround info if you don't know me already or you haven't paid much attention. My full name is Connor Reid Albright, I'm 6` on the nose, and I play water polo and volleyball for Righetti High School in Santa Maria, Califonia. I have a weird obsession for classic cartoons, and I can name pretty much any classic rock band by simply listening to a song. That uncanny ability was pounded into me at a young age by my awesome parental units, Eric and Jana Albright, who both work at Righetti with me. My only "sibling", an adopted alien that goes by the name of Kaybree, also attends Righetti and follows me in my athletic foot steps, playing water polo (but she's also a swimmer, so that's evidence enough that there's another planet out there with water on it's surface.)
Another little known fact, but I've been told by many people, including my kick-ass partner-in-crime Shane Hunter, that I can be quite the ladies man, but I think that's wrong. All I do is listen and say things that need to be heard by the female audience. That's really all it is. But I believe this topic can wait for another day(:
Well that should be enough for day one. See you guys on day two of the coolest project on earth!!
