At Last... It's Over!

Yeah, fuck that idea.  I think I'll just flip-the-fuck-out and write 25k instead.
National Novel Writing Month, the worldwide program that I thought would make my November more exciting has finally relinquished its hold on millions of lives and disappeared into a dark hole that it will crawl back out of next year to reign again.  If you can't tell how this last month went, then let me spell it out for you;  I'm fucking exhausted and disappointed.  My high hopes coming into the month were ripped down, laughed at, then stomped on.  My goal, you ask?  50,000 words in 30 days.  Yeah no.  Not going to happen.  Try 25,000, 30,000 if you're lucky.

Well, now that this madness has ended, I'm looking forward to more time with many things;  a)  My beautiful girlfriend, b)  Volleyball, and c)  Continuing to write this dumb piece of shit because if I came this far, I'm sure as hell not giving up now.  Call me crazy, but all I've got to say is this... DGAF homie!

Well, this is CA, signing off.  Stay tuned.... and be good humans.

Oooo, Look! A Butterfly!

To start off, I want to apologize.  I was entirely distracted from the computer for a good 10 days or so, and for that, I am sorry.  I will, however, include in this post, more content than should be reasonable.  So here we go.

11/24/12- Turkey Day!!!  (better known as Thanksgiving)
Tis the season to eat.  And that's exactly what I, along with millions nationwide, did.  We stuffed our faces then sat around drinking soda and watching football.  Then we eat the leftovers the next day (and the day after that, and the day after that, and so on.).  Second-favorite holiday next to Valentine's Day.

Now that Thanksgiving is over and done with, Americans look forward now to Christmas, anouther big day for the stomach.  But before that, the monster known as Black Friday attacks the nation's wallets and takes away the sanity of every woman in the United States.  I saw people camping outside of Best Buy on Tuesday!  WTF, people?  What's wrong with paying the same price every other day of the year like normal human beings?  Holy hell, it's like everyone's lost their marbles!  *Sigh*  I don't get it.

Volleyball begins in the spring, but we're rebels here in O-town, so we decided to start in the winter!  Oh, snap!  We have open gyms on Sundays, which is a lot like practice, but with more fucking around and more fun and a lot more laughing and dancing.  It's so much fun!  "It's awesome!  No, it's beyond awesome!  It's... beawesome!"

And it all ends with school.  More specifically, a Monday.  Fuck school, and fuck Mondays.

Well, this is CA, signing off.  Stay tuned.... and be good humans.

So Close...

On Saturday my high school, Righetti, made the CIF Southern Section Finals for water polo against Los Osos.  We were excited, a joking and laughing bunch of 18 and 17 year-old kids that were confident in their ability.  We knew our opponent well and we had beaten them before, so our confidence was high.

We reached the pool with high expectations and spirits.  The game started off great.  A 7-4 lead at half made us realize we were only sixteen minutes away from our goal.

That's when everything seemed to fall apart.  Los Osos brought it within one at the third quarter mark, leaving our seniors devastated and pissed all at once.

But it wasn't enough.

The Righetti water polo team fell 12 to 9.  The bus ride home was somber and depressing.  Everyone felt the sadness in the air, and no matter what movie the coaches put on, no one would watch them.

It was a bitter day.

Another Music Post.

Well, I'm just sitting in my room, thinking that it would be amazing to be able to listen to music.  I was about to get up to go find my iPod when I realized that my mom had taken it away for playing my music to loud.  How freaking ironic.  So, I decided to look up music on YouTube, but the server was down.  I was down to my last option... I pulled up Pandora.  After about ten songs that completely sucked ass, I sighed in sadness and continued on with my novel.  At least, I tried to write in my novel.  The internet can be very distracting.  So now, instead of writing, I'm blogging (and, yes, there's a difference!)

This Just In...

Here on the blog, we have a little saying that goes something like this...  "If you got somethin' to say, might as well tell everybody, because nothing can stay private for long."  So, here are a few updates from the Amazing World of an Average Teen.
What can I say, I'm in the know!

Coming up on two months for my relationship with Judith Salazar (looking forward to many more.  Every day is just such a joyous day, I wake up in the excitement of seeing you today and tomorrow.)

Missed It...

I apologize to all you guys that were expecting a Halloween post, but to be honest, I wasn't at the top of my game (bloggerly speaking).  I got home from Arroyo Grande at like 10 last night after two tough water polo games, then I was up till 1 doing homework that I learned today wasn't due until tomorrow (FML).  Oh well, I needed the extra credit anyways.

On a more pleasant note, there are only 15 days until the week of celebrations!  This blog is turning 3 (months) older, and I need your help to make it an amazing birthday week.  For those of you who are loyal followers, I know who you are, and I will find you :D

WriMo's!!!  It's finally here!!  National Novel Writing Month is upon us!  What will you be doing this November?

And finally, for those of you who are regulars, make sure you follow.  Three followers are awesome, but more would be abso-freakin'-lutly better!

Well, this is CA, signing off. Stay tuned.... and be good humans.

Back to Business.

After all the recent excitement, I am happy to be home from the tournament.  I know I was only gone for two days, but it felt like much longer. Now that I'm back, I get to reunite with some of the best people in the world, like the homies at right.  I know that most people think that the stuff Shane and I do are not to be done by high schoolers, but just check out MLIA.  It's full of stories of kids and adults that do awesome stuff that make Shane and I look like we are the normal ones.  It's great.

I've been tracking the days, and I can officially say... we are 18 days away from the 3 month birthday of the blog!!  Be sure to mark your calenders, because we are having a week-long celebration with stories and advice and other fun shit before we have a Thanksgiving recess.

Also, Wednesday is Halloween!!  Share all your ghost stories, memories, and plans on the "Talk to Me" page (as comments!)

Well this is CA, signing off.  Stay tuned... and be good humans.

One Month!

Got the cutest note today from my girlfriend!  Awwww!  It made my day so much better, because I was leaving for a water polo tournament and wasn't going to see her for the entire weekend, and I was really feeling down.  I had the stupidest little smile on my face, and I was happier then I have ever been.  <3 you, Judith! ;)
